Continuing Medical Education (CME) accreditation will be available from the European Accreditation Council for CME (EACCME) and the European Board for Accreditation in Pneumology (EBAP). This activity will be designated as a continuing medical activity for a maximum of 27 hours. European physicians should contact their national bodies for CME accreditation in order to have EACCME credit hours acknowledged on a national basis.

For American physicians, this activity will be designated as a continuing medical activity for a maximum of 27 hours as a Category 1 credit towards the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Credit hours for the Postgraduate Courses and the Scientific Programme will be given on a basis similar to that used for American physicians by the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP).
